Oregon state law mandates that employees in certain professions, including personal agents and personal support workers, must report abuse and neglect if they have a reasonable cause to suspect an individual is being abused. These people who are obligated to make reports are called mandatory abuse reporters and are essential to the process of protecting Oregon's most vulnerable citizens.
